Support Traxion – Shop sim racing equipment
Since the initial early access release in February 2024, there haven’t been more concurrent Le Mans Ultimate players on a single day than yesterday, 25th February 2025.
This was the same day as the official simulation of the FIA World Endurance Championship added a free LMGT3 Ford Mustang (joining the existing McLaren), eight alternative track layouts (plus Spa endurance pitlane), a revised HUD and a two-car (Aston Martin and Porsche 911) DLC pack.
A feather in Le Mans Ultimate’s bow is a native ranked multiplayer system, with several daily races and ranks to progress without needing a third-party website or subscription – although the latter is available to open up online championships.

Many sim racing GT3 drivers have been pining for the latest evolution of the Aston Martin in a simulation, and while it is in Rennsport, that particular title feels far from feature complete. The latest update also provided a new LMGT3 tyre model.
The one-day peak number of players for the 24 hours of Le Mans-themed title was on its initial launch day way back in February 2024.
Yesterday’s peak player number of 4,015 simultaneous drivers was its highest since then – with numbers noticeably jumping and staying relatively consistent since the first LMGT3 cars arrived in December 2024.

It also marked the first time that more (PC) people were racing on Le Mans Ultimate than Assetto Corsa Competizione, according to Steam Chart data.
In a recent preliminary earnings report for its parent company Motorsport Games, it was announced that sales had surpassed 100,000 units. Its next major update is currently slated for May.
“Very cool to see so many players online and enjoying Le Mans Ultimate right now,” said the company’s CEO, Stephen Hood on social media.
“New Porsche, Aston and Mustang getting a lot of love in today’s update.”
