Earlier in the year, we were told by Assetto Corsa EVO developers Kunos Simulazioni that the first early access build of its embryonic driving simulator would feature five tracks and “no less than 15 cars”.
As five tracks have been previewed for the title already, we assumed it would be: Nürburgring Nordschleife, Mount Panorama (Bathurst), Fuji Speedway, Imola and Brands Hatch.
But, along with publisher 505 Games, Co-Founder and Executive Manager Marco Massarutto has confirmed that the first five venues will be:
Brands Hatch
Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari (Imola)
Laguna Seca
Mount Panorama (Bathurst)
Suzuka
That means, crucially, the Nürburgring Nordschleife will be added at a later date.
While it is confirmed that an open-world Eifel region near the famed ‘Green Hell’ would arrive in summer, nothing so far indicated that the track itself wouldn’t be present initially – especially as it was among the first venues to be announced for the nascent sim racing title.
Assetto Corsa EVO Laguna Seca
It will join Fuji Speedway and 13 other tracks that will arrive after January 2025, but before the ‘fall’ of next year, when version 1.0 is expected with a 20-strong roster. Five more venues will be added for free, too, after that v1.0.
