Assetto Corsa EVO feels like the most hotly anticipated driving simulator in recent years, and for those on PC, an early access version will be released on 16th January 2025.

Two months ago, a work-in-progress build was provided at the German ADAC SimRacing Expo, with visitors able to test it on various stands.

But… what about those in North America?

The wait is nearly over, as those who visit the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Show in Indiana will also be able to drive EVO ahead of its launch.

Traxion believes the build will be identical to the version at the European gathering.

That means the choice of a Porsche 911 (992) GT3 Cup car at Imola, a Hyundai i30N around Brands Hatch or an Alpine A110 around a wet Mount Panorama (Bathurst) can be tested.

The assist settings are fixed, as are the inputs and most of the user interface is not visible.

But still, we felt the driving experience, plus dynamic time and weather options, were impressive.

The upcoming driving experience will be in the PRI SIM Racing Arena powered by SRO at the event on Thursday 12th December 2024, with a premier timed for 1 pm ET.

PRI is inside the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis and runs from the 12th to 14th December.
