Long Beach and Road Atlanta form LMU’s US Track Pack 2 DLC
New DLC to be released on 22nd September alongside game update
New 2026 ELMS and Le Mans liveries to be added for free
The contents of Le Mans Ultimate’s second US Track Pack have been revealed, with Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta and Long Beach set to be added to the game.
US Track Pack 2 will be released on the 22nd September and cost $19.99. A limited-time 10% discount will apply initially, with owners of the full US Track Pass and RaceControl Pro+ subscribers receiving the new content straight away.
However, an accompanying game update is also on the way. Details below.
Long Beach
Long Beach began life as an American version of the Monaco Grand Prix, with similar coastal vistas and equally brutal conditions for cars and drivers.
Opened in 1975, it once hosted the United States Grand Prix West Formula 1 race, which ran between 1976 and 1983, but is perhaps best known today for its long-term IndyCar association.
IMSA, featuring GTPs (LMH and LMDhs) and GTDs (LMGT3s), has been a regular fixture at the Californian venue since 2021, but has also visited sporadically since 1990.
Featuring imposing concrete walls, huge bumps and high temperatures, the race is regarded as one of the toughest on the IndyCar and IMSA calendars, and will be the first true street track to feature in LMU.
Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta
Road Atlanta hosts the famous Petit Le Mans 10-hour endurance race, which is set to take place on 3rd October this year.
Located in Georgia, Road Atlanta is an old-school circuit featuring cambered corners, high speeds, and zero margin for error, making it a favourite with real-world and virtual racers alike.
Overtaking opportunities are at a premium in modern sports cars, and its long back straight and subsequent braking zone offer the best chance to complete a pass. Add in multiple car classes, and you’ve got a recipe for exciting battles.
The LMU version of Road Atlanta is notable as the only US track release not to have appeared in Motorsport Games’ previous title, rFactor 2.
A 10-hour LMU Special Event is set to be held on the track in the week commencing 6th October to celebrate its release.
2026 ELMS and Le Mans liveries
An accompanying V1.4.2 game update will also be released alongside the DLC, adding free 2026 European Le Mans Series liveries to the game, applicable to the championship’s LMGT3, LMP2 and LMP3 cars.
Likewise, this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans LMGT3 and LMP2 paint schemes will also be included, complementing the incumbent Hypercar liveries added in V1.4.
Bug fixes and RaceControl website preview
Although this update isn’t the step change we usually expect, LMU custodian Motorsport Games has claimed V1.4.2 still represents a ‘major update’.
MSG has rolled out a series of patches to address recent netcode issues, with public test events scheduled to help iron out problems since the game’s V1.4 update and the switch from Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) to the Reliable UDP (RUDP) system.
A new RaceControl website was also previewed, which should make navigating and entering LMU’s official races much easier. This is expected to be released in time for V1.5 towards the end of the year.
The future
MSG’s messaging suggests that although LMU’s single-player experience remains a priority for the business, we shouldn’t expect any tangible in-game progress in next week’s update. However, MSG stated that it would ‘give you [the community] an update ahead of the next release’.
The third part of the US Track Pass DLC is still on schedule for release before the end of the year, with no further information unveiled about the game’s future PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S ports.
