As Forza Horizon 5 enters its fourth year, Playground Games has released a new ‘Ultimate Car Pack.’
Available for Xbox and PC, the new DLC bundles every Car Pack released since Forza Horizon 5 launched, including the Horizon Racing, Italian Exotics, Super Speed Car Packs, among eight others. However, cars from the Car Pass or Premium Edition Car Pass are not included in the bundle.
Forza Horizon 5 Ultimate Car Pack is priced at £39.99 / $49.99 on Xbox and £40.99 / $50.14 on Steam, containing 11 Car Packs and 51 cars in total. That works out at around £20 / $24 cheaper than buying each pack separately.
If you already own any of the Car Packs on Steam, the price will change accordingly on Steam. Conversely, the price will not change on Xbox or the Microsoft Store if you already own any of the Car Packs.
Combining all previous DLC into a cheaper bundle usually signals that DLC support is ending for a title. This was the case for Need for Speed Unbound, with last year’s Ultimate Collection bundling every premium DLC car.
Combined with the Forza Monthly streams ending, could this be a sign that Playground Games will announce, and possibly release, the long-awaited Forza Horizon 6 this year? Time will tell.
Meanwhile, Forza Horizon 5’s next series, Midnight Muscles (Series 43), is set to start on 30th January. While there seemingly won’t be any more premium DLC cars, the next series is expected to offer more free cars as season playlist rewards.
