Birmingham’s second F1 Arcade venue is now open for bookings ahead of its official 21st November opening date, it has been announced.

The partnership between Formula 1 and Kindred Concepts, which creates a social sim racing experience by combining esports with food and drink, started with a single venue in London late last year, before announcing a second Birmingham-based operation.

Not only that, but F1 Arcade has set plans in motion for its first North American venture in Boston, with a licence to open up to 30 similar venues around the globe in the next five years.

Location, location, location

Located in Birmingham’s Paradise leisure and shopping complex, F1 Arcade has a capacity for 530 guests, with a 35-foot bar able to keep sim racers hydrated after using one of the 53 rFactor 2-based simulators, with developer Studio 397 licenced to add official F1 content in-game.

The F1 Arcade version of rFactor 2 features four racing modes with four selectable skill levels to reflect the variable experience of F1 Arcade’s visitors, ensuring F1 Arcade caters to hardcore motorsport fans as well as casual fans enjoying an evening out with friends.

F1 Arcade’s Birmingham venue also features an outdoor terrace suitable for 20-50 guests, with private bookings available for larger parties.

“F1 Arcade will be a major new attraction for the city and one that will appeal to all ages and backgrounds.
