Last month we reported on the introduction of the officially sanctioned F1 Arcade venture, a collaboration between British hospitality experts Kindred Concepts and Formula 1.

The bold idea has proven to be a smash hit with consumers, with interest in the London-based project sufficient for another British F1 Arcade venue to be announced, this time in Birmingham.

Surprisingly, this comes even before the London-based venue has opened its doors (F1 Arcade is located at the One New Change development in St Paul’s, London and is set to open on the 24th of November).

F1 Arcade has earmarked Birmingham’s Paradise office and leisure space as its base, offering practical and modern facilities plus easy access to the city centre for customers. The F1 Arcade version of rFactor 2 will feature four racing modes and have four skill levels to reflect the mixed experience levels of visitors.

“F1 Arcade will be a major new attraction for the city and one that will appeal to all ages and backgrounds. This truly ground-breaking new leisure concept is coming to Birmingham in only its second venue in the UK”, said Ross Fittall, senior development manager at MEPC – development and asset manager of Paradise.

“With cutting-edge gameplay, high-quality food and drink and an inviting, innovative space, it will be an exciting venue with something for everyone,” he continued.

Birmingham’s F1 Arcade venue is scheduled to open in late 2023. F1, Kindred Concepts and Motorsport Games (owners of Studio 397) have penned a deal to licence up to 30 F1 Arcade venues across the globe over the next five years.
