Electric MotoE series added to MotoGP 21 game

The latest MotoGP 21 game update completes the support category line-up with the MotoE class.

The FIM-organised electric motorcycle racing series started in 2019, the MotoE World Cup is now in its third year of competition with a seven-race calendar. All 18 riders are now in the game, alongside the one-shot E-Pole qualifying system.

Each motorcycle is the same Energica Ego Corsa that use a 11.7kWh battery for 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in three seconds. They also make a unique noise, like a kettle coming up to boil. Italian rider Alessandro Zaccone currently leads the standings.

The category is thanks to a free update on PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series, although there’s no word on the Nintendo Switch version of the game. Also scheduled for this update was adding in wet rider suits, but it looks like they will now be added later.
