All good things must come to an end.

And as of 15th March, 2023, legacy game F1 2020 will no longer be available via Electronic Arts’ subscription The Play List, according to EA services.

The popular title can still be purchased as a physical copy; however, F1 2020 has already been axed from the Microsoft Store.

If you’re hoping to enjoy the game before it gets the boot, you can do so through EA Play for just £3.99/$4.99 per month. The membership includes a collection of top gaming titles via The Play List.

F1 2020 was the first title to allow players to create a unique team by crafting their own driver, choosing a sponsor and engine supplier, hiring their own teammate and becoming the 11th team on the grid.

The game was released on 10th July, 2020.

Don’t worry, though. You can still get your Lewis Hamilton fix via F1 2021, which is included in The Play List and doesn’t seem to have an expiry date at this time.

EA SPORTS F1 22 has not yet been added to the digital catalogue, but maybe F1 2020’s removal may indicate its addition soon after…keep it pinned and we’ll give you the scoop, if it does indeed happen.

EA Play is an optional subscription-based service on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
