We expected this to happen, once iRacing purchased the rights to make NASCAR titles from Motorsport Games, but now it’s been confirmed.

A new NASCAR PC and console game is set for a 2025 release under the stewardship of iRacing, following the sale of NASCAR Team Properties’ gaming license by Motorsport Games.

The current Cup Series cars, teams and paint schemes have been delayed for NASCAR Heat 5, with the upcoming DLC no longer having a release date.

NASCAR Heat 5’s 2022 Cup Series DLC now has a date, to go with the Career Mode and pricing confirmation.

2022 NASCAR Cup Series season cars, drivers and teams will be part of a new paid DLC pack for the venerable NASCAR Heat 5.

The publisher’s CEO Dmitry Kozko has hinted that an older NASCAR Heat title may receive 2022-season DLC alongside Heat Mobile, NASCAR 21: Ignition and a new Switch game.
