In yet another social media teaser, the BeamNG.drive team has shown off an upcoming improvement to the game’s Rally mode, and it’s going to make Samir furious.
Introduced in December 2024, BeamNG’s Rally mode initially featured a static pacenote system, which although an intriguing development, did not work well in practice.
Thankfully, an audible co-driver is showcased in the Twitter/X post, making the HUD issues largely irrelevant as we ride onboard with an Ibishu Miramar through the Fastello-Norte test. It’s unknown whether this extends to berating the standard of your driving, however…
The new co-driver update will likely not be the only improvement we see in Rally mode, with a new stage already teased alongside improved sounds for the new rally-inspired Hirochi Sunburst remaster.
We also expect to see improved world-building tools as well as a new drift track in the game’s next update, although exact details are yet to be announced.
