Current F1 ‘24 season set for Real Racing 3 release

Electronic Art’s perennial mobile car racing game will receive further official Formula 1 content imminently.

Current F1 24 season set for Real Racing 3 release

EA SPORTS F1 24 and F1 Manager 2024 are not the only places to get your Formula 1 fix, with the 11-year-old Real Racing 3 also part of the official game club.

Except, the current season is absent. That will not be the case when ‘Update 12.6’ arrives ‘soon’ for the Android and iOS racer.

We expect the current grid’s cars, drivers and liveries. It has the 2023 season included presently, which was added last August.

Publisher Electronic Arts closed its dedicated F1 Mobile Racing mobile game in May, which seemed like an odd move with the sport at the height of its powers.

The free-to-play, with optional microtransactions, Real Racing 3 continues, for now. It recently moved development teams, with the original Australian Firemonkeys Studios suffering from cuts and the project moving to Indian outfit Slingshot.

Real Racing has already received the 2023 F1 season – 2024 is next

The content does not yet have a confirmed release date. It receives new content each month, so August’s update including new F1 content isn’t a stretch. This follows the recent addition of the 2024-spec Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 from the WRC and Ferrari’s Le Mans-winning 499P.
