David Toth won SimRacing Expo Frankfurt’s biggest LAN event of the weekend: the 80-lap eNASCAR Euro Show Race. The Hungarian won the race at Charlotte Motor Speedway by nearly five seconds ahead of Issam Er-Rabhi and Eryk Mitus.
The race was a repeat of Charlotte’s own SimRacing Expo in May, which put on an event at its virtual Speedway for North American drivers in iRacing. For this week’s Expo in Frankfurt, only European drivers were allowed in the online Qualifying phase for this competition, which took place late afternoon on Sunday to round off the weekend.
Trucks at Charlotte is one of the more difficult 1.5-mile combinations because of the challenging nature of turn four, specifically. The Trucks generally get tight through the turn, and so it feels as if the turn four wall jumps out at the drivers just as they exit.
And after David Toth had taken pole in Qualifying, the difficulty of the day’s race was put straight into perspective, as the race lasted just metres before the first caution came out. The first restart of the day was much better, and the field settled into single-file running quite quickly.

The second stoppage came after nearly 10 laps under green, and offered the first proper chance for drivers to make pitstops. Er-Rabhi from second took that chance, although he was one of relatively few. Noah Osbaldeston had also taken the chance to stop, and on the fourth green run of the race was able to chase down Toth and overtake the Hungarian for the first lead change of the race.
