ESL R1’s 2023 Fall Season is nearly upon us, promising another championship of action-packed racing between the best sim drivers and teams in the world set.

However, the championship’s calendar – which runs from August until November – has thrown up an interesting question: is there a chance that new tracks will be added to the competition’s platform of choice, Rennsport?

Will drivers be sick of Monza by the end of ESL R1?

The first five rounds have been earmarked as taking place at Monza (twice), Nürburgring GP, Hockenheimring and Spa-Francorchamps; with all four tracks also being used in ESL R1’s Spring Season.

However, the venues for Rounds 6-8, as well as the Fall Major, have ‘To Be Announced’ notices, indicating we may see new Rennsport circuits in the latter stages of the championship.

The latter half of the upcoming schedule is littered with TBAs

At this point, the only two other known Rennsport tracks are the Goodwood Festival of Speed Hillclimb stage and a recently announced figure of eight circuit (amusingly named ‘8eta’, in response to criticism regarding the number of Open Beta keys sent out to players), both of which can’t be considered for inclusion in ESL R1. (For obvious reasons… )

The ‘TBA’ venues in ESL R1’s Fall Season could well end up as another mix of the aforementioned four courses, but until the tracks are formally announced it’s fun to speculate. If Rennsport were to include new tracks in ESL R1’s Fall Season, which would you like to see? Let us know in the comments below.
