WATCH: How to be fast at COTA on Assetto Corsa Competizione

After our extensive track guides for Watkins Glen and Indianapolis, we bring you the final part of our Assetto Corsa Competizione American Track Pack DLC track guide series.

This time, we’re heading to Austin, Texas, and the nearby Circuit of the Americas (COTA). Currently the host of the United States Grand Prix, COTA also holds rounds of IndyCar, NASCAR and, more pertinently to ACC, SRO’s GT World Challenge America series (albeit not in 2022, sadly).

Without a doubt, COTA is the most difficult track to learn in the American Track Pack. The high-speed curves of sector one are replaced by slow, technical sections mid-lap, with late apexes and multiple lines adding to its complexity.

John somehow masters his hatred of the layout to offer tips on tackling the tricky Texan tarmac, meaning you won’t have to endure the same pain he went through by producing this video guide. He loves it really.

Track limits are also an issue at COTA in ACC, as the game can be both strict and lenient with its cut warnings. The huge anti-cuts can also send you straight to the top of COTA’s famous observation tower if you’re not lucky.

Have you mastered COTA in ACC? Let us know in the comments below.
