WATCH: Hands-on with CarX Street on PC

We were able to get our hands on CarX Street a day before launch, but how does it stack up against some of its fellow street racing titles?

There are plenty of options out there for fans of this genre, and with the likes of Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown and Japanese Drift Master just around the corner, things haven’t felt this competitive since the early noughties.

CarX Street has released today, 29th August 2024, following a lengthy gestation period. It’s PC-only for now, with consoles expected later, following a mobile release in 2022.

You explore Sunset City, in drift and racing events, heavily modifying unlicenced cars. The visual s are impressive, the progression is rewarding. There is also set to be online multiplayer, too.

Priced at $19.99, CarX Street could prove to be superb value. We went hands-on with a pre-release build, and you can watch our initial impressions embedded above and on YouTube.
