The next round of this season’s thrilling GT Pro Series moves to the feted Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps later today as the esports championship moves towards the finale.

The penultimate races of the year, with both a Sprint and Feature at Spa, will be broadcast live. Expect the elbows to be well and truly out as 30 GTE cars driven by professional esports drivers battle for supremacy.

Championship leader Toman has a slender one point ahead Simončič at present, once dropped rounds are accounted for, so it’s all still to play for. We get the feeling that overall honours won’t be decided until the very end.

Last time out at the fictional Loch Drummond, Varga SimRacing’s Marcell Csincsik took his maiden win for this season in the Sprint Race, while Burst Esport’s championship contender Jernej Simončič won the Feature. The track proved to be a big challenge for competitors, with the undulating chicane proving to be a bone of content for many competitors.
