A new Expeditions: A MudRunner Game update has been released, adding three new trucks and a whole new environment to Saber Interactive’s Snowrunner spin-off.

Part of the game’s ‘Season 2 White Dawn’ lineup, the new content is available to purchase now for PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch, and arrives alongside a hefty game update.

Check out all the details below.

Three new trucks

The three new vehicles are headlined by the inclusion of the officially licensed Mercedes-Benz Unimog U2450L. In a prime slice of serendipity, Gran Turismo 7 also released the classic Mercedes-Benz Unimog Type 411 ’62 today, but Expeditions’ U2450L is a much more modern and capable piece of kit in comparison.

There is also the Decin S-3T heavy cargo hauler plus the all-terrain UGV CR-G0 scout vehicle to play with, but the Unimog is the undoubted star of the show here.

East Beskids map

East Beskids, set in the Carpathian Mountains, gives Expeditions players their first sighting of snow in-game, adding a fresh set of traction-based challenges.

Measuring 2x2km, the map also includes a fresh cave to explore as well as an observatory to visit.

Other new features

Season 2 also sees a new signal repeater gadget added alongside a new generator base module, as well as a host of bug fixes, including optimisations for the game’s co-op mode.
