Turbo Golf Racing adds icy blue Ratoon car as part of mid-season update

Hugecalf Studios has dropped yet another incredible – and free – update for the PC and Xbox Game Pass arcade-style sensation, Turbo Golf Racing.

The Mid-Season Update is now available (as of 29th September 2022) to those of us who love to yell “FORE” from the comfort of our own gaming chairs. One of the greatest perks to playing a Game Preview version of the title is that throughout the journey of tweaks, loyal consumers are given the chance to request specific features that will ensure the final product is an absolute chef’s kiss.

And TGR’s developers were definitely taking notes.

Fan suggestions have been heard and are ready to tee off with all new cross-platform parties and global leaderboards topping the list of newbies.

Whether you hit the green on your PC, Xbox or Game Pass, all servers are loaded with freshly cut courses, game-play-altering Power Cores and even a sparkly set of wheels: the Ratoon.

New & Improved Party System: Cross-platform parties across PC and Xbox platforms. Players can add ‘TGR Friends’ using a friend code from any platform and see other vehicles in the lobby

Leaderboards: Multiplayer and Time Trial leaderboards have been added, accessible via the Time Trial tab

Six New Levels: Avalanche; Endurance; Hurricane Lane; Par 5; Rough Hill; Three Peaks

New Active Power Core: Ice Lock – Freezes your ball in its current position for a short period

New Passive Power Core: Big Shot – Increases your ball hit power

New Car: Ratoon

New Ball: Engine

On the horizon, Turbo Golf Racing will be releasing a spooky Halloween DLC with a Tricks N’ Treats event, Halloween rewards and more. A look ahead to Season Two excites with a new location, 10 new levels and plenty of rewards.

It’s available on Steam Early Access and Xbox Game Preview on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Microsoft Store for £14.99/ $17.99/€17.99. It’s also included in PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass memberships. The Early Access period is expected to last approximately 12 months.
