Following a rush of orders at launch last year and then a series of shipping delays, Thrustmaster’s T598 is finally back in stock for those in Europe.
Released in October 2024, this is the outfit’s first direct drive sim racing steering wheel that worked not just with PC, but also PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
It uses a unique direct axial drive layout for smooth force feedback, a constant 5Nm of torque that can ‘overshoot’ to higher levels in some instances, and a compact body. It also comes bundled with Thrustmaster’s all-new, metal, Raceline pedals.
However, it has been unavailable for most of 2025 so far, thanks in part to Lunar New Year delays, adverse weather conditions and a strike at the docks used by Thrustmaster.
It stated that the original plan was to restock in late January, but it has taken until today, 21st March 2025, for the items to become available once more.
“You will struggle to find something that packs so much punch per pound,” we said in our review.
“For sim racers, the feedback clarity and strength put it far ahead of existing entry-level bundles, but close behind premium offerings that are often more than double the price.”

EU markets can once again purchase the T598, while the Raceline pedals are now back for both the EU and UK.
Pricing is €499 for the full bundle. The pedals alone are €89.99 / £79.99.
