The Best Amazon Prime Day sim racing deals

Here’s a run-down of what we think are the hottest, and best, Amazon Prime Day (July 2025) tech deals for sim racing – from VR headsets to games.

The Best Amazon Prime Day sim racing deals

It’s back, Amazon’s Prime Day is here to sell you that new blender that you didn’t know you needed.

Between 8th and 11th July 2025 (yes, it’s called Prime Day but it’s across four days…) ‘exclusive’ discounts on a range of products will be available – provided you are a member of the e-commerce giant’s subscription service.

Here are the deals we think are most relevant for sim racers.

Wheels and peripherals

9% off Thrustmaster T598 wheel and pedal set

£449.99 £409.99

This is a small discount, a stingy 9% – but, it’s 9% off the price of what we think is the best value sim racing wheel and pedal set on the market. The T598 delivers smooth, powerful, force feedback, wonderfully tactile gearshifts and compatibility with PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The pedals aren’t the greatest, but they are at least made of metal and a load-cell upgrade kit is expected this year.

26% off Thrustmaster T300 RS GT wheel and pedal set

£349.99 £259.99

Another Thrustmaster wheel and pedal set for PC and PlayStation – except, this is a much, much, older model than the aforementioned T598 and is belt-driven rather than direct drive. Sure, it’s also much cheaper, but if you can afford the T598, do that instead. If not, this is a solid performer as an entry-level device.

31% off Logitech G29 wheel and pedal set

£259.99 £179.99

Logitech G29

The Logitech G29 is older than the sun, delivers a nasty, clattery, feedback noise akin to a diesel tractor and if dust gets inside the pedals (which it will after a year), then they’ll stop working.

So why is it on our ‘best of list’? Well, because despite its obvious foibles, at this price, no other sim racing wheel gets close, and you can still be quick with this device.

45% off Logitech G Driving Force Shifter

£54.99 £29.99

Logitech G Driving Force Wired gear lever

If you do go for the Logitech G29, then this is an affordable H-pattern gearshift add-on. The base set comes with built-in paddle shifters, which is what you’ll use most of the time, but when racing with road cars or classic race vehicles, this adds extra authenticity.

35% off Logitech G Saitek Farm Sim Controller

Logitech Farm wheel amazon prime day 2025

£229.99 £149.99

Not a sim racing peripheral, sure. You got us there. But, with Farming Simulator (and others) proving to be so popular, and with a crossover market, here’s Logitech’s dedicated device with a noticeable discount.

VR headset

18% of Meta Quest 3S 128 GB

£289.99 £237.99

Meta Quest 3S 128 GB

The Meta Quest 3S is the company’s new entry-level headset, offering almost as much graphical horsepower as the Quest 3 but at a significantly lower price. Indeed, the Quest 3’s 2064×2208 pixels per eye resolution is nearly matched by the 3S’s 1832×1920, although it’s limited by its refresh rate and narrower field of view.

At just over £200, however, and over £150 cheaper than the Quest 3, the 3S could well be the perfect gateway into VR sim racing.

Game discounts

24% off Roadcraft PS5

Building roads, in heavy machinery, in co-op. That’s Roadcraft in a nutshell, and we really enjoyed it. “RoadCraft has all the ingredients to be the surprise hit of the summer, especially when played with friends,” we said in our review.

20% off F1 25 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S

£59.93 £46.99

This is the best official Formula 1 game in several years, so while the fundamentals are very similar, the Braking Point Story and enhanced My Team managerial mode are two very worthy additions. Also, the driving experience is just so solid. Well worth this price of entry.

27% off Expeditions on PS5, 37% on Switch

£30.04 £21.86 PS5 | £34.99 £21.99 Switch

Sit back, relax, and find submerged items – that’s Expeditions boiled down to its bare essentials, mixed in with some slow-paced mud-plugging. From the people behind SnowRunner and the aforementioned Roadcraft, the PS5 and Switch editions are handily reduced for the next few days.

15% off Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown PS5

£25.32 £21.52 PS5

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown had a rough start last year, but it’s steadily improving. While the open-world racer still has its flaws, from an overly grindy progression system to graphical issues, it’s worth taking for a spin at this heavily discounted price if you’re looking for an alternative to Forza Horizon 5 or The Crew Motorfest.

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown Season 4 Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato

20% off Deliver at all Costs on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S

£24.99 £19.99

This zany isometric driving game sees you trying to work your way up the ranks at a delivery company, all the while trying not to run over pedestrians or lose your precious cargo while smashing through a building. Wacky, off-the-wall, and impressive visuals for a semi-open world game set in the 1950s

18% off The Crew Motorfest on PS5

£25.06 £17.99

Forza Horizon 5 is the gold standard of open-world racers, but The Crew Motorfest is a worthy alternative, with over 700 cars and two idyllic islands to explore. And at just £17.99 on PS5, it’s significantly cheaper than its rival. With seven seasons’ worth of free content, including last week’s love letter to Ferrari, to enjoy, now is a great time to jump in.

The Crew Motorfest Season 7 Enzo Ferrari Museum

Up to 77% off Need for Speed games, PC (Origin) codes

Need for Speed Unbound Ultimate Collection: £74.99 £18.75 PC

Need for Speed Heat: £54.99 £12.49 PC

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered: £24.99 £6.25 PC

If you need your arcade racing fix, several Need for Speed PC titles are heavily discounted for Prime Day, including the most recent entry, Need for Speed Unbound. What makes this deal even sweeter is you’re getting the Ultimate Edition, which includes every post-launch add-on and Premium Speed Passes.

You can also get Need for Speed Heat for £12.49 and Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered for £6.25 on EA’s Origin.

15% off Monster Jam Showdown on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, 20% on Switch

£16.90 £14.36 PS5 | £22.95  £19.51 Xbox Series X|S £19.51 | £24.95 £20.00 Switch

Milestone is best known for the MotoGP series, but last year saw the Italian developer make its first foray into the world of monster trucks. Monster Jam Showdown boasts a comprehensive roster of real-world monster trucks, Unreal Engine 5 visuals and an enjoyable stunt mode. Its chaotic off-road racing is arguably the closest we’ve had to a new MotorStorm game

Monster Jam Showdown’s Grave Digger Legacy DLC is out now
