Just two days after it launched on 28th October, Wreckreation’s first post-release patch has arrived for PC players.
In response to community feedback, the patch addresses an “unnatural speed drifting bug” that caused unrealistic grip levels.
Elsewhere, the settings menu has been moved to a “more visible location” in the pause menu. Previously, accessing general game settings required you to scroll to the bottom of the DJ Menu, which doesn’t pause the game when activated.
In addition, difficulty levels in several Race and Road Rage events have been adjusted, though this won’t affect the progress of previously completed events.

“Our top priority right now is to ensure we get rapid changes into your hands whilst ensuring we test them thoroughly,” developer Three Fields Entertainment wrote.
A PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S patch containing the same gameplay fixes is expected to follow soon. However, no timeframe was provided, as certification approval from Sony and Microsoft is required.
