The 2022 Formula 1 grid is coming soon to F1 Mobile Racing

Following a teaser in April that hinted at the current-spec Formula 1 machines would be joining Electronic Arts and Codemasters’ F1 Mobile Racing, it has now been confirmed that the entire current season will be available in a future update that is coming soon.

The free-to-play Android and iOS title is going through a renaissance of late under EA’s stewardship, following the recent additions of the Imola and Algrave International circuits, plus quality of life features such as a livery editor and career mode.

All of the teams and drivers from the 2022 season, as well as the new technical rules for 2022 will be included in the update. It is also stated that all of the 2022 circuits will be featured.

Once the entire F1 2022 grid is available, it will follow Rocket League as the second officially licenced game with the current season available. More details will be available “in the coming weeks” as they prepare to unload the update.

If you’ve been playing the game with the 2021 season specifications, there will be some changes as it moves over to 2022. A lot of things earned will stay, but there are some aspects that will change or be removed, and some areas will be reset. A full run down of what to expect with the update can be found on the FAQ page.
