Super Woden GP 2 skids onto consoles today

ViJuDa’s retro-themed racing game Super Woden GP 2 has finally made the transition to consoles today (24th of July 2024).

Originally released to PC on the 18th of November 2023, SWGP 2 has gained a sizeable cult following since its release, with players attracted to the 16-bit-era visuals, addictively drifty gameplay and a pulsating original soundtrack by Donutdroid and DJ Devito.

Players can drive nearly 200 unlicensed-yet-familiar cars across a game map resembling Gran Turismo 2’s, with online leaderboards and four-player local split-screen helping extend its longevity.

Racing is varied, with touring cars, rally cars and road cars all available to slide around 40 asphalt and mixed-surface tracks.
