The sixth season of the rFactor 2 Competition System is officially live! Sim racers alike on the rFactor 2 platform can stack up against one another in official races on the Competition System, a relatively new process added to the fold earlier this year.
Moving into Season 6, there will once again be a selection of daily races, weekly championship series, and possibly the biggest draw to the season will be the chance to qualify for the Le Mans Virtual Cup event coming up at Monza.

rFactor 2 Daily Series races
Rookie Cup
The Rookie Cup will once again utilize the Caterham Academy car, a free with rFactor 2 via the Steam Workshop vehicle. The schedule will also stay the same as it was in Season 5.
- Timing: Daily, at the beginning of every hour
- Format: 10-minute qualifying, 20-minute race
- Car: Caterham Academy
Open Wheel Sprint
The Open Wheel Sprint will use the Tatuus PM-18 in replacement of the Tatuus FT-60 from Season 5. With the car change also comes a schedule change, six next venues to visit every bottom of the hour.
- Timing: Daily, 30 minutes past every hour
- Format: 10-minute qualifying, 25-minute race
- Car: Tatuus PM-18

rFactor 2 Weekly Championship Series
Touring Car Challenge
Again in Season 6, rFactor 2 players can get in on the British Touring Car Championship content within rFactor 2 with the weekly Touring Car Challenge series.

Ferrari Fixed
New to the Competition System this season is a Fixed Series for the Ferrari 488 GTE. The only things that can be changed include Steering Lock, Brake Pressure, Fuel and Brake Bias.
This is the same car that’s being utilized in this year’s GTE class of the Le Mans Virtual Series, by the way!

Le Mans Virtual Cup
Part of the rFactor 2 Competition System, the Le Mans Virtual Cup Series is currently holding qualifications up until 7th October when Monza is scheduled to take place.
Top finishing drivers in the overall series will get a chance to race in the 2023 24 hours of Le Mans Virtual.
