The established players on console are about to get some competition from Nacon.

  • Revosim’s 9Nm direct drive racing wheel and 100kg load cell pedal bundle confirmed for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S
  • It follows a June 2025 release for PC
  • Revosim is part of Nacon, which already publishes racing games and produces console-licenced peripherals

The only direct drive racing wheels on PlayStation 5 so far are by the long-established Logitech, Fanatec and Thrustmaster brands – but that’s about to change as challenger brand Revosim has secured Sony approval, alongside Microsoft’s too, to boot.

It means the brand’s first racing wheel, the RS Pure, will become available for and compatible with PlayStation 5 and Xbox devices – presumably a console-specific bundle per platform.

Revosim is part of Nacon, a game publisher (WRC, Test Drive Unlimited) which already makes licensed third-party gaming headsets and gamepads for both PlayStation and Xbox. Although the racing brand is new, the parent company is a well-established entity.

The RS Prue sim racing bundle launched earlier this year as a 9Nm (peak torque) direct drive wheel base for PC with a set of 100kg load cell adjustable pedals and a unique round steering wheel attached via a quick release.

The set is competitively priced at €799, or each item is available separately. It includes a unique phone stand and app, which acts as a DDU featuring real-time telemetry on your existing device, plus a desk clamp at no extra charge.

It has since then confirmed a clutch pedal, handbrake and gearshifter (H-pattern and sequential in one) as part of a matching ecosystem, plus teased different wheel designs and a lower-power 5Nm base.

There is no pricing or release date information for the PS4/PS5 version or Xbox edition – just that the devices have been approved and officially licenced.

Of note, the PlayStation information specifically cites just the RS Pure as a bundle, whereas the Xbox information also confirmed that the aforementioned handbrake, clutch and shifter will be compatible.

“The entire Revosim team is extremely proud to soon be offering a new comprehensive bundle for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S console users. This collaboration reflects our ongoing commitment to providing gamers with ever greater immersion, realism, and enjoyment,” said Sébastien Waxin, Head of Racing at Nacon.

It will join a burgeoning sim racing ecosystem for console, with Rennsport, Project Motor Racing and Le Mans Ultimate set to release on the devices alongside the likes of Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator
