Today (4th March) sees the release of The Crew Motorfest Season 9, and it’s one of the most feature-packed updates yet.
Alongside a new island to explore and a track creator, the latest season will add 18 new cars over the next few months, some of which have yet to be unveiled.
New NASCAR playlist
Headlining Season 9’s roster are officially licensed NASCAR Next Gen Cup Series cars: the Ford Mustang Dark Horse (2024), Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 (available early for Year Pass 3 holders) and Toyota Camry XSE.
These Cup Series cars feature in Season 9’s new NASCAR Motorfest Tour Playlist. The playlist sees you compete in ten events from qualifications to finals, with pit stops adding a new layer of strategy. Outside the playlist, the NASCAR Cup Series cars can be driven anywhere in free roam.

“We’re excited to bring our iconic brand to life in The Crew Motorfest,” said Mitch Rasmussen, Sr. Director, Interactive at NASCAR. “This collaboration represents another important step in our strategy to bring NASCAR into the digital spaces and places where next generation fans spend their time, giving players new ways to interact with the culture and communities they love.”
Alongside the standard NASCAR stock vehicles available in the shop, four additional packs with exclusive team liveries can be purchased with Crew Credits.
Other new cars in Season 9 include the Porsche 935, available to Year 3 Pass holders on 1st April, and the Audi Sport quattro S1 Pikes Peak, which will be added to the in-game shop on 10th June.

RC Frenzy Playlist releasing in May as premium DLC
A second playlist, RC Frenzy, will be added to Season 9 on 6th May. As the name implies, it focuses on RC Cars, with new physics that let you perform stunts and explore Hawaii from a different perspective, fitting through gaps and driving on rooftops to discover new areas.
Unlike the NASCAR playlist, RC Frenzy will be premium DLC as part of the Year 3 Pass or sold separately.
Three playable RC cars have been confirmed so far: the Phazr General Rally Raid and Phazr Trickshot Street Tier 1.

Season 9 also brings a new Island Playground filled with stunts, new Summit Contest events and new Main Stage activities.
Another standout addition is TrackForge, a powerful track creator allowing players to design and share custom circuits.
