Redout 2’s release date pushed back to 16th June

The Redout sequel will now be launching on 16th June 2022 for PC, Switch, PlayStation and Xbox.

Redout 2

Earlier in the month, we reported that Redout 2 would be coming fairly soon, with an initial release date of 26th May 2022. On Friday (20th May 2022), the upcoming title from 34BigThings and Saber Interactive was announced to be slightly delayed, with the release date pushing back three weeks.

The new date for the sequel’s release is 16th June 2022 per a post on official Redout 2 social media channels. This is a precautionary measure to make sure the game is as good as it can be at launch, as it needs that slight more development time.

The upcoming futuristic racing game will feature vibrant colors, an EDM soundtrack and speed over 1,000 km/h. The new Redout will also included vehicle customization, a new addition to the franchise. This new game will also have a photo mode to capture the stunning visuals.

A total of six race modes, including Time Attack, Race, Arena Race, Last Man Standing, Speed and Boss, along with a total of 72 tracks across ten locations are included to compete upon. Up to 12 players can compete with online multiplayer.

When it finally releases, the title will be available on PC via Steam, PC via the Epic Games Store, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
