New gameplay footage for MXGP 2021 has been released by game developer Milestone, and this time it is at the returning Ottobiano venue.
The Italian venue, located in the Province of Pavia, was part of the FIM Motocross World Championship for two seasons, 2017 and 2018. As the official games of the real-world championship, the circuit was featured in MXGP3 and MXGP Pro.
For the upcoming 2021 release, it returns as a ‘Legacy Track’. Think of it as the historic stages from the recent WRC 10, except on two wheels, not four.
In the footage, we can see the brand new UI style, with contrasting red and black colours and fresh fonts. Otherwise, without going hands-on, it’s hard to differentiate between MXGP 2021 and MXGP 2020. The race was ridden by YouTuber Enduro-game.
MXGP 2021 will include all the riders, teams, motorcycles and tracks from this year’s season, but the Legacy Tracks will add further variety to singe races and online play. Ottobiano joins three other classic venues; Ernée, Leon and Agueda.
We’ll hopefully have more about MXGP 2021 ahead of its release on 30th November for PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S as a digital-only title.
