Sim racing peripheral manufacturer Moza has begun this year’s Gamescom with a spate of announcements, with new wheelbases and steering wheels taking much of the focus.

However, the Chinese firm has also revealed it is working closely with both MotoGP and Mercedes-AMG on yet-to-be-revaled products, raising a great deal of intrigue among the sim racing community.

Mercedes-AMG is no stranger to working with sim brands, with Sim-Lab and Cube Controls both previously manufacturing officially-branded steering wheels, while the German marque’s esports team also uses Heusinkveld products.

However, we do not currently know in what form Moza’s partnership will take.

The Chinese firm’s MotoGP deal is arguably much more interesting, given the strong impression it could lead to the release of a motorcycle-focused controller.

Again, no concrete information is available at this stage, but motorcycle games have generally been overlooked by peripheral companies in the past, a gap in the market Moza could do well to exploit thanks to this new agreement.
