The main motorcycle grand prix undercard has always been playable from launch day within the MotoGP 23 game, but now the roster has been updated to reflect the current season’s rider suits, helmets and bike liveries.

The latest patch is live as of today, 10th July 2023, for PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. It follows June’s update, which refreshed the Moto3 field.

MotoGP 23 Moto2 update

The 2023 Moto2 season runs races at all 20 (a 21st, Kazakhstan was cancelled, although the track remains in the game) MotoGP events, with Italian Tony Arbolino currently leading the championship standings for the Elf Marc VDS Racing Team.

All bikes in the Moto2 category use a 765cc engine supplied by Triumph, although the chassis can be altered per team.

Elsewhere, the performance of your AI-controlled rivals is said to have been tweaked. One of our main consecutive feedback elements since launch, their straight-line speed seems to not necessarily match their set level. Now, a change to how they use the engine modes has been implemented.
