The team behind Project Motor Racing has apparently revealed another classic GT car set to join the sim.

After Straight4 Studios posted a teaser image of the rear clamshell of a low-slung sportscar on Twitter/X, the Traxion team immediately spotted the hallmarks of the Mosler MT900R, a mid-engined American brute.

Several louvres on its stern gave the game away in the end, with the vents helping cool the Mosler’s 5.7-litre General Motors-derived V8 motor. The Mosler competed across the globe in limited numbers and was initially entered into the American Grand-Am series, winning the GTS class at the 24 Hours of Daytona in 2003.

It competed successfully in both the British GT Championship and Dutch Supercar Challenge under the stewardship of Rollcentre Racing and finished second in the Bathurst 24 Hours in 2002.

The car also competed in the FIA GT Championship in 2005, although it wasn’t properly homologated. This also undid its attempts to continue racing outside British GT as a GT3 car, owing to the lack of road-going MT900Rs.

The Mosler will join a distinctively GTR 2-like car roster in PMR, with the Saleen S7-R, Lister Storm, Ferrari 550 Maranello, BMW M3 GTR and Gillet Vertigo all confirmed, among others.

PMR is set to use an all-new Hadron physics system incorporated into publisher GIANTS Software’s proprietary game engine, as used in its Farming Simulator games.
