Le Mans Ultimate update delivers significant Paul Ricard changes

…Plus a long list of further tweaks and fixes.

Le Mans Ultimate update delivers significant Paul Ricard changes

A host of changes have been implemented to the Le Mans Ultimate ELMS DLC Paul Ricard track.

These range from adding additional trees to the more noticeable Goodyear fan zone arch and, critically, different kerbing following feedback from sim racing content creator Jardier.

“Curbs are now the same as in real life (before there were flat where they should have been big),” he said on social media.

As he is an avid Le Mans Ultimate driver, plus has also driven around the French venue in the real world in both a GT2-spec KTM and Clio Cup. In particular, the kerb on the inside of Turn 1 should provide a greater impact.

The multi-coloured venue was added to the official sim racing title of the FIA World Endurance Championship earlier this month as a DLC add-on.

Track limits near the circuit’s pit entry have also been changed.

Elsewhere, the recent Version 1.2 update changed the penalty system, while this patch alters the amount of time added post-race, should a penalty not be served during a pitstop.

The new driver badges can now be viewed in session result screens and there is a change to the AI’s wet rubbered line (which was another noticeable alteration with v1.2).

The full patch notes are below:
