iRacing 2021 Season 4 Patch 4 [2021.11.10.03] available now

It’s been a quiet season in terms of iRacing standards when it comes to patches released. Already working the 10th week of 13 total, 2021 Season 4 Patch 4 is the latest to drop on the iRacing service.

Looking into the patch notes, there’s not much to talk about as it is, which is either a good thing or a bad thing depending on your current view of the platform. iRacing’s AI got a small update which added back invincibility and fixed some visual errors on the season’s page.

Both the new and old Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars (the 992 and the legacy 991) corrected a steering animation for the proper wheel lock. Likely an error that was copied over from the older car when the new car was released earlier in the season.

A handful of tracks were also slightly adjusted. The Charlotte Motor Speedway and brand-new Phoenix Raceway got some love for the NASCAR folks. Meanwhile, the road racing enthusiasts can look forward to updates for the Nürburgring and Hungaroring, which also got patched.

For the Hungaroring especially, it would be important to have that at top capacity for the conclusion of the Force Dynamics Dallara iRacing Grand Prix Championship this week. Oh yeah, the “ovals” at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course now load with the proper iRacing road tires.

There are some other fixes included in the notes below. On top of that, there were a few other updates, like something for the Skip Barber Formula 2000 and the Porsche 911 RSR that were included in the update, but were not included in the patch notes below. Let us know what your thoughts are about the latest updates from iRacing in the comments!
