It looks like Motorcycle racing esports are about to get a big lift within the sim racing sphere thanks to Init Esports and Virtual MX.

It was announced on Wednesday (9th August) that Init Esports, the famed woman-led esports organization that focuses on sim racing special events and motorcycle esports tournaments, is partnering up with Virtual MX, a well-known brand that has committed to the motocross racing game industry for more than 10 years.

Init Esports has previously worked with the MX Simulator to bring AMA Esports Championships to the community in both Motocross and Supercross disciplines. The company has also worked with RiMS Racing on the World’s Fastest Motorcycle Gamer contest, also sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association.

Virtual MX, meanwhile, is made up of a dedicated team that works in game and physics development, 3D modeling of tracks and assets, racing system technologies and more related to motorcycle racing simulation.

What exactly this will entail, well, we don’t quite know just yet. What it could mean is exponential, however, as the expertise from both entities combining together could lift the genre up to new heights. We’ve seen what Init Esports has been capable of, especially with their Screen to Speed competitions.

For more information on the partnership, visit either Init Esports or Virtual MX for the details.
