When it comes to sim racing esports, the Gran Turismo World Series offers something unique by hosting its own in-person live events.
This year, the travelling competition that sees the world’s best Gran Turismo 7 drivers compete for the Manufacturers Cup and Nations Cup titles will visit London (United Kingdom), Berlin (Germany), Los Angeles (USA) and Fukuoka (Japan).
Tickets are now on sale for the London event, as of 28th April 2025, which now has a confirmed venue – the BBC’s Television Centre.

Within the prominent landmark filled with news journalists, radio presenters and TV show creation is the BBC Studioworks area, which helps produce third-party non-BBC content. In this instance, the Gran Turismo World Series.
Doors open 3.15 pm on 7th June 2025, followed by the Manufacturers Cup races and then Nations Cup, with the venue closing at 9.30 pm. Entry is £30 (GBP) for the day, allowing visitors to watch both events. For those under the age of 18, and accompanied by an adult, there is a reduced-price £20 ticket.
“There are not that many seats at BBC Studios, so it is better to book early,” said Series Producer Kazunori Yamauchi.

These Manufacturers Cup and Nations Cup races provide entrants with points, which count towards the overall championship table, determined in the World Final in December.
If you’ve ever seen a World Series live stream and wondered how it’s produced, or what sim racing competition is like with an audience, visiting a Gran Turismo event is a spectacle, based on personal experience.
