Horizon Chase’s next DLC will celebrate the career of Ayrton Senna

One of our favourite arcade, retro-infused, racing games at the moment is Horizon Chase, and it will soon expand with a tribute to the late, great, Ayrton Senna.

The Senna Forever Expansion will add a new set of cars, tracks and features inspired by the 41-time Grand Prix winner’s career.

Far more than just a skin-add-on, it will feature a new single-player campaign with five distinct chapters focussing on different parts of Senna’s career. The new vehicles are F1-inspired and will feature for the first time in Horizon Chase a cockpit camera and car setup options.

To announce the upcoming content, there’s a highly emotional trailer, showcasing a new generation of players learning about Ayrton Senna. As a fun, accessible, game, Horizon Chase is an ideal entry-point that’s available on multiple platforms.

As with the existing game content, you can play with up to four people via local split-screen, and the racing is a throwback to games of a prior generation, such as Top Racer 2 which we covered in our recent Evercade round-up.

It’s developed by Brazilian team AQUIRIS and part of the profits obtained will be used to support the Instituto Ayrton Senna educational programs.
