While Fast X Part 2’s theatrical release is delayed until next year, a new Fast & Furious game is coming this year to tide fans over.
Developer Cradle Games and publisher GameMill have announced that Fast & Furious: Arcade Edition will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch on 24th October, 2025, with a native Switch 2 version yet to be confirmed. There will be no PC release, however.
Based on the Raw Thrills arcade game Fast & Furious Arcade, the action driving game sees you race through exotic locations with destructible environments and shortcuts. Licensed cars range from Domonic Toretto’s Dodge Charger, to the Corvette Z06 and Shelby GT500 KR, and can be customised with paint jobs.

From the bombastic trailer, it certainly captures the vibe of the films, with a mix of drifting, nitrous boosts, crashes and huge jumps.
Because this is a Fast & Furious game, you’ll also encounter absurd action setpieces inspired by the films, from intercepting a missile to grounding a plane.
While there is no online multiplayer, Fast & Furious: Arcade Edition will support split-screen multiplayer for up to two players.
Raw Thrills has a long history of Fast & Furious arcade games, beginning with a tie-in of the original The Fast and the Furious game in 2004. This was followed by four more Fast & Furious arcade titles: The Fast and the Furious: Super Bikes, The Fast and the Furious: Drift, Fast and Furious: Super Cars and Fast & Furious: Arcade.
The newly optimised console is based on its most recent title, Fast & Furious: Arcade, which first hit arcades in 2022. Raw Thrills also developed the over-the-top arcade game Cruis’n Blast, which received a Nintendo Switch port in 2021.
Fast & Furious: Arcade Edition will mark the first Fast & Furious game to release on consoles since the dismal Fast & Furious Crossroads, developed by Slightly Mad Studios, in 2020.
Incidentally, this is the second new racing game GameMill has announced this week, following yesterday’s reveal of Hot Wheels Let’s Race: Ultimate Speed, which launches the same day as Fast & Furious: Arcade Edition.
Fast & Furious: Arcade Edition release date
Fast & Furious: Arcade Edition will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch on 24th October, 2025, priced at £24.99/€29.99. A physical release is also planned.
