- ETS 2’s Coaches DLC previewed in new teaser video
- More details emerge on Coaches gameplay mechanics
More details of Euro Truck Simulator 2’s upcoming Coaches mode have been released, showcasing how players can launch coach-specific jobs as well as how to buy and customise buses in-game.
Developer SCS Software first revealed Coaches mode in June 2025, with further teases confirming officially licensed Volvo and MAN buses in the new DLC. However, not much was known about how Coaches gameplay would look in practice until the Czech studio released more information over the weekend (friday 21st August 2026).
New coaches can be purchased (using financing or loans if need be) as normal through the game’s online dealer and stored in players’ garages. From here, it’s possible to customise the exterior and interior of your new vehicle, including choosing different chassis, engine and transmission configurations, if applicable.
Upholstery and curtains can be tailored to players’ preferences, and so can interior lighting, with a range of liveries to choose from. You can add additional parts and accessories to your coach, with some unlockable through game progression.
