It’s out with the old (ish) and in with the new (ish), as Oscar Piastri, Carlos Sainz and Ollie Bearman become the cover star athletes for the EA SPORTS F1 25 video game.
Seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton is the sole driver on the cover of the Iconic Edition.
This marks a significant change, as for the past two years, the trio was Hamilton, Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc, while the special editions featured Max Verstappen.
The Dutch driver’s absence is particularly notable. The 63-time grand prix winner has been an EA Sports ambassador, with the company’s logo emblazoned on the front of his real-world crash helmet – something that is absent for this season.
F1 25 is the official game of the current Formula 1 season, and is set for a formal unveiling tomorrow, 26th March 2025.
