Cube Control’s second-ever set of sim racing pedals is about to be released when the SP01-Core hits the market soon.
First seen last year in prototype form at the 2024 ADAC SimRacing Expo, pre-orders for the Italian company’s new device begin on 24th February for €729 before taxes.
The units are made from a single block of CNC-machined aluminium and are touted to be highly adjustable: Three dampers, two elastomers and three springs can be used within a Performance Kit (a €59.90 option), plus included custom brackets allow for pedal model tweaks in 5° increments.

Brackets are made from stainless steel, which Cube Controls claims can be “mounted on most rigs on the market.”
Arriving as a two-pedal set, there’s a 200kg-capable load cell on the brake unit. There’s a fine-tuning spring preload option, plus a preload ring on the compression elements. On the throttle, its throw can be adjusted via a dedicated knob, plus the spring preload levels are said to be ‘easy to reach’. Both use 16-bit resolution sensors.

The Sardinian outfit is also known for its work in real-world motorsport, and each of its sim products includes a five-year warranty on mechanical components and a three-year warranty on hardware.
The SP01-Core follows the original SP01, which continues to exist as a range-topper. The SPO01 also includes a hydraulic damper, absent in the SP01-Core, going somewhat to account for the €170 price differential.
