During the unveiling of RaceRoom’s ‘Summer Campaign’ promotional event, Swedish-based developer KW Studios has revealed the release date of the sim’s next major content drop.
Although not confirmed for release in the next update, RaceRoom has formally teased the Lamborghini SC63, Porsche 963 and BMW M Hybrid V8 Hypercars, with KW Studios’ Christian Wacker-Baur intimating that an unnamed fourth LMDh car is also in the works.
Additionally, a fifth Hypercar is in the early stages of negotiation with an unknown licensee, with work continuing in the background on the sim’s ranked multiplayer system. Could September also see this finally come to fruition and help boost the sim’s online presence further?

In terms of the identity of the sim’s new tracks, KW is tight-lipped, but doesn’t that Lamborghini screenshot look a lot like Sebring? Hmm.
Considering the popularity of Le Mans Ultimate and Automobilista 2’s Hypercars, it appears RaceRoom is in a good position to capitalise on the burgeoning interest in the category, and we’ll be sure to report on any tidbits of information dropped by KW Studios right up until launch day.
As part of RaceRoom’s ‘Summer Campiagn’, all of the sim’s content is currently free to play until the 18th of August, with a 50% off sale scheduled to take place between the 21st of August and the 14th of September.
