Originally slated for a 2022 release, Original Fire Games’ colourful racing title will now finally hit the Nintendo eShop on 21st June 2023.

The driving game sees you take to the wheel of miniaturised motorsport vehicles, from single-seaters to stock cars, on asphalt, dirt and even the Top Gear test track. Its cutesy visuals are offset by authentic handling – you must learn each track, master the racing line and then you will be rewarded.

In our review, we called it a “stylised simulator”, praising its replayability and variety of racing types.

To tie in with the Switch launch, a version 1.5.0 update will also launch on all platforms (PC, PlayStation, Switch and Xbox), although the new features and fixes included are not yet announced.

Initially released in 2021 for PC and Xbox after a period of Early Access, it hit PlayStation at the start of last year and now Nintendo’s ecosystem next week. It should be an ideal match, and being able to take Circuit Superstars on the go is something we’ve been pining for.
