CarX Drift Racing Online Switch

One of the most popular drifting games, CarX Drift Racing Online, will be arriving in portable form on Nintendo Switch, and it’s happening rather soon.

Available from the 24th June 2021, and available to pre-order right now via the on-console eShop, CarX has been going through a popularity spurt of late. On PS4, PC and Xbox One, it allows cross-platform multiplayer, with frenetic sideways action that works well with a gamepad.

The game is still receiving regular updates and content drops, while the development team, CarX Technologies, is also working on a new title, CarX Street.

There is a wide range of, unlicensed, cars to select, and you can tweak setups and customise their liveries, parts and body kits. On the Switch version, 16-player online multiplayer is available. We’re not sure what it will look like on the diminutive Nintendo handheld as no in-game screenshots or footage has been released at present.

The game will cost $39.90/£29.99 and for now is only available as a digital download.
