While the first round of the 2022-23 Le Mans Virtual Series took place at the virtual Bahrain International Circuit back in September, the track still wasn’t ready to release to the rest of the rFactor 2 community at that time. On Thursday (27th October), Studio 397 announced that it is fully ready to ship in November.

Four layouts of the venue will be included when Bahrain releases in the Q4 2022 content drop. Not only will it include the main International Circuit, but it will also feature the Endurance layout, the Outer Loop and the Paddock configuration.

The entire course has been laser-scanned into the rFactor 2 system, the main track having 15 corners throughout the 5.412-kilometer area. While it’s often seen on the Formula 1 schedule, Bahrain’s FIA Grade 1 surface also hosts GT and endurance racing.

Bahrain’s arrival should give drivers competing in the Le Mans Virtual Cup plenty of time post-Spa to practice on the track for the final round of the calendar on 2nd December. Already in the books for the Le Mans Virtual Series, Floyd Vanwall-Burst and Oracle Red Bull Racing were the respective class winners.

This is the first piece of content announced for the Q4 2022 content drop. While we’re not sure what else there will be, if anything, we do know that it will be easier to get to it through the newly-integrated storefront.
