At Traxion.GG we strive to give you the best up-to-date information on all things sim racing. Until now, however, we’ve never dabbled in set-up creation or sharing. Until now, that is!
While testing Assetto Corsa Competizione‘s new v1.9 update, we came up with set-ups for all three of the game’s new cars: the Porsche 911 GT3 R (992), the Ferrari 296 GT3 and the Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo2.
We found our laptimes drop significantly around the Circuit Ricardo Tormo (or Valencia, as it’s best known) so we thought: why not share the love and give some of you a head-start in learning this tricky track?
If that wasn’t enough, our Porsche set-up was used to race-winning effect by our very own John Munro win during Kunos’ official 2023 GT World Challenge DLC stream just last night! (18th April 2023.) And going up against huge sim racing talents like Jardier, Nils Naujoks and Gregor Schill, that’s no mean feat.
Honestly, we should charge for this kind of service…
The set-up names provide the air and track temperature as the set-up was created, meaning you simply need to adjust tyre pressures up or down depending on the circuit temperatures you’re running. Oh, and remember to aim for the 26-27 PSI sweet spot out on track.
Happy hot-lapping!

Naturally, don’t expect hyper-esport levels of performance, but these set-ups do represent a big step forward over the game’s aggressive default settings. Let us know how you get on with these – or if you’d like to see more set-ups from Traxion – in the comments below.
