Danish sim racing equipment manufacturer Asetek has unveiled the next step in its increasingly packed lineup of peripherals, showcasing its new Forte and La Prima steering wheel range.

What makes these stand out from the sim racing crowd, however, is that both the Forte and La Prima are essentially modular button boxes replete with several, easily swappable, wheel rim options.

The Forte Button Box offers several more button and switch inputs than the La Prima, with wheel rims able to be bolted to each by way of six screws.

Asetek is also launching upgrades for its Forte and La Prima formula steering wheels by offering optional grips to convert them to suit prototype or GT-style racing. These are set to go online early next year.
