Announced, and available for pre-order, in February 2022, Funselektor’s Absolute Drift Zen Edition physical Nintendo Switch version is now available via retailers in the US.
Serenity Forge is behind the latest release of the colourful drifting game, originally launched in 2015, and alongside a case and Switch cartridge, it includes a poster, sticker sheet and 3D lenticular card.
Priced at $34.99, the Premium Physical Edition is now shipping from the Serenity Forge online store, which does ship around the world and is how we received our copy (depicted), delivered recently to the UK.For those in the US, it’s also available through outlets such as Amazon.com, Best Buy, Gamestop and Walmart.
For those not in the loop, Absolute Drift was inspired by Ken Block’s Gymkhana video series and was created by Dune Casu in his formative game-development years. You slide artistically-style cars from a top-down perspective through a series of challenges and open-world free-roam areas.
It pre-dates art of rally, which is due an Indonesia expansion soon and is also receiving the physical Serenity Forge treatment.
Where will Absolute Dirft appear next – Game Boy Color, perhaps?
