We first tested the unique driving and management game Endurance Motorsport Series at Gamescom last year, but as time advanced without a firm release date, the planned autumn 2025 release window seemed increasingly unlikely.
Fast forward one year, and publisher Nacon has confirmed that Endurance Motorsport Series has suffered a delay. It’s now set to hit the track sometime in 2026, but there is currently no release window. other than ‘early’ in the year.
“Endurance Motorsport Series will arrive in the beginning of 2026,” said Alain Jarniou, Creative Director at KT Racing, to Traxion.
“We really want to have the game launched with the online multiplayer features, so we need this time to implement and to test the online mode, because this is really a good way of experiencing the game.
“This is very important, with the team notion in the game at its core. When you are online with friends, the experience will be, I would say, enhanced.
“You can have new adventures with your friends in multiplayer, no race will be the same, and anything can happen during the race. So online is very important.

The title isn’t an online-only title; there is a lengthy single-player campaign with AI rivals – but, online, there will be an option to collaborate with friends in a team, against other competitors. Three people can be in a team, and there could be up to 24 cars on track.
Developed by KT Racing, the French studio behind Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown and the WRC series before Codemasters and EA acquired the license, Endurance Motorsport Series is a racing game unlike any other.
As we discovered at Gamescom last year, it blends management elements with GT and hypercar track racing. Unlike the F1 and GT Manager games, you can drive an array of licensed cars from classes including LMP2 and GT3 during races.
Off the track, you’ll be managing a team of three drivers, who share multiple cars in higher-tier races. Three players can also share a car in collaborative online races, with grids of up to 24 players.
From our previous hands-on, team management and facility upgrades seemed simplified compared to F1’s My Team mode, while the on-track driving was very early days. However, the on-track action has improved significantly, based on a recent test at a Parisian event earlier this year.
Hopefully, the delay will give KT Racing ample time to improve several elements, because Endurance Motorsport Series has enormous potential to stand out in the increasingly crowded sim racing genre.
