RaceRoom’s next wave of new GT3 cars slated for June

During the broadcast for the DTM Esports Pre-Show showcase event, RaceRoom has provided an update on its upcoming new GT3 cars.

Announced in March of this year, the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo, Ford Mustang GT3 (main article image), Lamborghini Temerario GT3 and Porsche 911 GT3 R (2026) will be created to match the real-world current DTM season.

The 2026 DTM Esports championship’s first round is on 30th May, so will use the 2025-season car pack. However, during an interview, KW Studios confirmed that by the season finale, the new content will be ready and released.

“At the moment we are working on all of the missing GT3 cars,” said Christian Wacker-Baur, Director of Strategy and Sales at RaceRoom.

“So [we’re] talking about the Ford Mustang, the Aston Martin [Vantage GT3 Evo], the Lamborghini Temerario and also the Porsche ‘evo’ [911 GT3 R 2026]. All of these cars are in the making and they will be ready in June.

“Also, the 2026 liveries from the DTM will be ready by the end of June. So, the [DTM ‘26] car pack, we don’t know exactly when we will release it, so the goal is that when the people who will qualify for the on-site [DTM Esports] final at the NSCSC will compete in the [DTM] ‘26 car pack.”

While the interview was taking place, work-in-progress models for the Lamborghini, Ford and Porsche were showcased. June also tallies with RaceRoom’s quarterly content release schedule, following the last major update in March.

The top 20 drivers from the online multiplayer DTM Esports rounds will qualify for an in-person final at the Nürburgring in August.
